TRIAL OF DR. MUSSADIQ

TEHERAN, November 23. Dr Mussadiq twice tried to walk out of his court-martial in Teheran today because the chief prosecutor attacked his religious faith. Court attendants and his own lawyer (Colonel Bozorgmehr) held back the former-Premier, who shouted: “I will not stay in this place if this man keeps calling me an infidel.” After a long battle with the chief prosecutor, Dr. Mussadiq won a ruling from the Court’s chairman that the prosecutor must not call him an infidel.
