CATHEDRAL GRAMMAR SCHOOL SPORTS FIVE RECORDS BROKEN Five records were broken at the annual athletic sports of the Cathedral Grammar School on Monday. C. A. Barnett, competing in the senior high jump championship, won the event with a record jump of 4ft 3%in. P. L. Nuthall set two new records in the_ intermediate championship when he ran. the 75 yards in 9.Bsec and jumped 4ft o%in in the high jump. T. P. S. Gibson made a new record ui 7sec for 50 yards, and K. S. Scoggins a record of IQsec for 75 yards in the junior championship. Championship placings were as follows: —Senior: C. A. Barnett 1, C. C. Moore 2, R. A. Anderson 3. Intermediate: P. L.; Nuthall 1. I. C. H. Dick 2, E. D. Bucklej 3. Junior: R. W. M. Hiatt 1, T. P. S. Gibson and S. D. Martin (equal) 2. The house competition was won by Mei ton House with 186li points.
