TRAP SHOOTING
NORTH CANTERBURY GUN CLUB
Five matches were fired at an open shoot held by the North Canterbury Gun Club at Rangiora on Saturday. Ideal conditions prevailed. There was a good attendance of shooters and supporters. Results:— .
Five-target Eye-opener.—C. Booker T. A. Everett, J. Bell, C. R. Ogier, W. Counsel!, G. E. Croft, and I. Boyce shot possibles. y
Principal Match, of 15 Targets (22 entries). —Booker shot the only possible. R. T. Whitham and Boyce were one down. Ten-target Sweepstake (24 entries). — Rex Turner, Everett, Boyce, K. D. Smith, and C. H. Rowsell shot possibles. Ten-target Gimcrack.—Won by Smith outright with a possible. Those with one down were Turner, Everett, Whitham, I. B. Stocks,’ and P. Kidd.
Concluding Match, also a Gimcrack, of 10 Targets.—Kidd shot a possible. V. Luisetti and Smith each scored nine breaks.
