Stolen Safe Found * The small office safe .and about £lOO of the £2OOO stolen from the business premises of Southland Fisheries, Ltd., Bluff, either on Wednesday night or early on Thursday morning, have been recovered. With the office books, which were also in the safe at the time of the theft, they were found on Friday in a culvert on the main highway about seven and a half miles from Bluff. The discovery was made by Railways Department employees who were working on a line nearby. The back of the safe had been forced open. It is thought that the £lOO recovered was overlooked by the thieves in the dark.—(PA.)
