HANDICAP TO DEB (New Zealand Press Association) .. . . OTAKI, November 8. Well-fancied candidates in Deb and Mahogany won the feature events to complete a short-priced double combination at the Levin Racing Club’s meeting at Otaki on Saturday. The doubles dividend was £8 Ils 6d for £l. Rain fell almost incessantly throughout the day, and there was a very poor attendance. Investments slumped, the totalisator handling £30,557 10s, including doubles, £3670 10s, a decrease of £32,250 10s on the £62,808 handled on the course at Otaki in October last year. Results:—
