FORMER ALLIED PRISONERS

INDIANS SEIZED AS HOSTAGES (Rec. 12.10 a.m.) SEOUL, November 6. Allied prisoners of war who have thrown in their lot with the Communists today seized two Indian officers as hostages at Panmunjon. They announced that their action was a protest against threats and coercion contained in letters from home. k The seizure of the Indian officers in the compound housing 22 Americans and one Briton, who have refused repatriation, was announced shortly after the neutral nations repatriation commission had made a surprise visit to their camp.
