BIG SHOT SCRATCHED FOR ADDINGTON

Big Shot has been withdrawn from the Canterbury Handicap on the first day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington on Tuesday.

Big Shot, one of the best three-year-olds of last season, was left in through an oversight. The club has announced the late bracketing of Barbara Gaillard and Black Fury in the Introductory Handicap at Addington on Tuesday. Barbara Gaillard is No. 1 in the race card and Black Fury is No. 3. Tickets on the two horses will be sold on No. 1 by the totalisator.,
