There is again every promise of fine weather and a fast track for the second day of the Invercargill Trotting Club’s spring meeting tomorrow, when fields are of the same strength and class as those that took part last week. The double will be on the President’s Handicap and the Stewards’ Handicap No 2. There had been no scratchings today. Selections:— 11 a.m. —Introductory Handicap: Vierosa, Loyal David, Chips. 11.45 a.m.—Enwood Handicap: Ballarina, Moccasin, Calamity Jane—lmmaculate bracket.
12.30 p.m.—Stewards’ Handicap No. 1 Our Kentucky, Bon Marche, Argyle Lad.
1.20 p.m.—President’s Handicap: Mighty Benny-Blazeworthy bracket, Melva Grattan, Thomdell. 2.5 p.m.—lnnovation Handicap: Lucky Hall-Nigger Hall bracket. Man Friday, Royal Platoon. 2.50 p.m.—Stewards’ Handicap No. 2: Fatima Lady, Belle Renarde, Brandon. 3.35 p.m.—Lorneville Handicap: Spring Creek, Cabra, Factotum.
4.25 p.m.—Final Handicap: Chimera, Melva Grattan, Fairway.
