CHALLENGE OF COMMUNISM

Sir,—Please allow me space to support D. Osborne on the thought that the Christian Church should acknowledge the equality of all men and also the Christian ideals of all religions. During the last few years I have been associated with persons of various orthodox religions and been more than shocked at the thin views held by many—views that turn humanitarian persons from the churches’ doors. If the Church is to fulfil the mission allotted to it, • it must follow in its founder’s footsteps and be as one to all men in charity and purpose.— Yours, etc., WORLD FAMILY. November 6, 1953.
