TITLES OF CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION The Canterbury Indoor Bowls Association held its championships during the week-end. There was a record entry in all sections, and play was of a very high standard throughout. The results of the pairs and rinks championships were as follows: Pairs.—B. Penny (skip) and W. Etwell (lead), of Fletcher Holdings Club. Semifinals: E. Gordon (Rangers) 2 beat J. Lees (Halswell) 10; B. Penny 8 beat C. A. A. Smith (P. and T.) 4. Final: Penny 12 beat Gordon 11. Rinks.—S. Barlow (skip), R. Lange (3rd), M. R. Clarke (2nd), and R. Millar (lead), of Railway Club. Semi-finals: K. R. Smith (Railway) 14 beat A. G. McKenzie (Metropolitan) 4, S. Barlow 11 beat E. G. Smith (Star of St. Albans) 5. Final: Barlow 11 beat K. R. Smith 9.
