Cxrieten-Bennettz.—Mrs E. Bennett presided over a good attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the CarletonBennetts branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers. Mrs Boyens gave an interesting talk on some of her experiences, while living in Rarotonga. Monthly competition results were:—best marrow: Mrs Hubbard 1, Mrs Skurr 2. Smocked article-. Stewarts Gully.—Mrs Hopewell presided at the May meeting of the Stewarts Gully branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers and welcomed three new members. Mrs Orchard, of the Harewood branch gave an interesting talk on the work and objects of the division, since its inception 28 years ago. Cust-West Eyreton.—The May meeting of the Cust-West Eju-etpn branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers was held recently in the West Eyreton hall. Mrs W. Fleming the president, congratulated Mrs M. Frizzell on her recent appointment as president of the newly appointed provincial executive Canterbury North. Arrangements were made for the birthday party to be held in June. A demonstration on embroidery stitches was given by Mrs M. Frizzell. Competitions resulted as follows:—one chrysanthemum: Mrs V.
