CORONATION HOLIDAYS

Sir, —The Coronation is to be broadcast on the night of June 2 and through the day of June 3. School children havetTuesday, June 2, off, but not Wednesday. We could not sit up till the small hours of the morning because of school the next day, and even though part of the ceremony is to be rebroadcast on Wednesday evening we will still not be able to listen because of homework. How much more sensible it would be to have Wednesday, June 3, off instead of Tuesday. Would this be possible? —Yours, etc., SECONDARY SCHOOLGIRL. May 26, 1953.
