WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN HOTEL

(New Zealand Press Association) s TE AROHA, May 24. A married woman, aged about 40, was found dead in her room at the Hot Springs Hotel, Te Aroha, shortly after midday yesterday. She was Mrs Thelma Jorgensen, of 6 Kerr street, Devonport, Auckland.

Mrs Jorgensen was on holiday accompanied by her 10-year-old son. She appeared to be in good health after breakfast, but became suddenly ill about 10.30 a.m. After medical attention, her condition improved, but she was found dead on her bed about one hour later. Police inquiries are being made.
