COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE
LONDON, Mayl3. The Commonwealth Prime Ministers’ conference will begin in London on June 3 and will end on June kv 9. Sir Winston Churchill win preside over the private dismissions, which win be concerned mainly with international affairs. No agenda so far has been settled for the conference. Each premier will give his country’s views. Lord Swinton, Commonwealth lations Secretary, and other British Ministers will assist Sir e Winston Churchill when subjects involving their departments are discussed. ‘ At least one session will be devoted to economic problems. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr R. A. Butler) is expected to review the results of his recent talks in the United States, and West European countries on the Commonwealth economic plan which was agreed upon at the last Prime MinJeters’ conference in December.
