COMMITTEE FORMED TO OPPOSE AWARD MOVE

(New Zealand Preet Association) AUCKLAND, May 14. The Society of Registered Mai Nurses of New Zealand today set u a special committee to J conduct its flgi against inclusion in the Hotel Worker Union. Mr A. E. Just, past-president, prt posing this, said that for five yeai they had been victorious in the: struggle to keep out, but the threat of the union interfering in nursing matters was not yet removed. The union’s proposal for a new award contained a clause for male nurses, giving a scale of proposed salaries Those elected to the committee were Mr D. C. Milne, Christchurch, the new president; Mr Just (Wellington), Mr Riddiford (Wellington), and Mr B. Newton (Auckland).
