Marjorie Marshall and Derrick Lukies in the Comedy roles of Julika and Mikkie in one of the hilarious moments during "MAGYAR MELODY,” the joyous Coronation Comedy Musical to be presented by the Christchurch Operatic Society, commencing its NX premiere season at a cost over £4500 at the St. James Theatre, Saturdey next. A worthy successor to "Wild Violets" and "Bless the Bride." The society has been lucky obtaining the rights to this highly successful Musical Play by Eric Maschwitz and George Tosford of Balalaika fame. Margaret Ward, back after two years' study overseas, and Robert Key are starred as the romantic load. Lon Bernes is Musical Director. Frona King, recently returned from abroad, is producer and Doreen Herbert is Ballot Mistress.
