HOTEL WORKERS’ DISPUTE

TALKS IN CONCILIATION TO BE RESUMED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 12. At the request of the Federation of Labour, representatives of the Hotel Workers’ Union have agreed to resume conciliation proceedings with the Licensed Victuallers’ Association. This was announced after a meeting between the two parties in Wellington today. A brewery representative said tonight that the first meeting would probably be held in a fortnight.
