THEATRICAL ENTERPRISE.—Last-minute back-stage details for the opening performance, in Wellington, of the recently-formed New Zealand Players’ Company receive the attention of the stage director, Mr K. Southgate, and his assistant, Miss Ruth Alley. The company, which will appear in Christchurch soon, has chosen as its first play “The Young Elizabeth,” which deals with the eventful days before the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth I.
