The following are the winners and run-ners-up in respective grades of the Canterbury Softball Association’s 1952-53 competitions : "Women.—Senior: Christchurch and Monowai. Senior reserve: Spreydon and State Fire. Intermediate: New Brighton and Linwood. Junior: Vanguard and Marathon. Men.—Senior: Spreydon and Papanui. Senior reserve: Weedons and Spreydon. Junior: Linwood and Christchurch, Third grade: Templeton and Linwood. Schoolboys.—Major League: P.Y.P.C. and Y.M.C.A. Minor League: Richmond and Bromley. Knock-out. —Senior Women: Marathon and Monowai. Intermediate: New Brighton and Monowai. Junior men: Christchurch and Templeton. Schoolboys: Richmond A and Richmond B.
Conduct Cups.—Women: New Brighton. Men: Training College. Best-Dressed Team.—Cardinals.
