PREVOST DIVORCE SUIT

RESPONDENT SEEKS NEW TRIAL (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 8. Mrs Yvonne Dorothy Prevost has given notice of motion for a new trial of the divorce suit brought against her by her husband, Charles George Prevost, on the ground of adultery. Gordon Hutter was named as co-respond-ent. Last week a jury found for Prevost. Mrs Prevost claims that the verdict was against the weight of evidence, that the Chief Justice (Sir Humphrey O’Leary) misdirected the jury on material points of law. that the verdict or finding of the jury was so defective that judgment could not be giver* upon it, and that irreparable wrong will be done if a new trial is not ordered.
