THIRD AUCKLAND WOOL SALE PROSPECTS CONSIDERED FAVOURABLE (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 10. Auckland's third main wool sale of the current season will be held on Friday, when 30,671 bales will be offered. Mr H. Duke, chairman of the Auckland W«Sol Brokers’ Association, said today that the wool had opened up well and a good sale was indicated. Wool stores in the city are now taking offerings for the next Auckland sale to be held on May 4 and 6. COMPANY NEWS Beath’s Interims.—The directors have declared an interim preference dividend of 2J per c6nt. and an interim ordinary dividend of 64 per cent, for the half-year ended February 19.
