MUCH INTEREST IN AUSTRALIA There is a possibility of more Australian entries in the England-Christ-church air race in October, according to Mr S. M. Graham, secretarytreasurer of the Canterbury International Air Race Council, who returnrt by air to Christchurch yesterday after a holiday visit to Australia. Mr Graham said he spent a week in Sydney and Melbourne attending to air race business, and found the Australians most enthusiastic about the race. “I answered technical inquiries and gave people interested some informs-, tion, but at this stage I cannot say anything about additional Australian entries.” said Mr Graham. •These matters are still in the discussion stage.” Triree Australian entries have already been received. The Royal Australian Air Force has entered two Canberra jet bombers and two R.A.A.F. Reserve officers, Squadron Leader A. J. R. Oates and Flight Lieutenant D. Swain, have entered a Mosquito. _______
