BUS BURIED BY AVALANCHE
(Red. 9.20 p.m.) VIENNA, Nov. 12. Rescue parties are digging to save 30 trapped in a bus buried in an aValanche which swept across the road west of Innsbruck.
Avalanches are also reported from many other parts of Austria and Switzerland, where winter has come early.
At Fionnay, in the Valais Alps, an avalanche swept away and killed a workman.
Heavy snowfalls have paralysed rail and road transport in Grisons, in eastern Switzerland.
