BOY FOUND DEAD

INQUEST ADJOURNED An inquest was opened yesterday be-! fore the Coroner, Mr E. B E. Taylor, into the death of Maurice Stephen Tranter, aged six, son of Mr and Mrs A. A. Tranter, of Hamilton place, Spreydon. and adjourned sine die. The boy*was said to be playing with a small girl in an empty section on Tuesday evening where old timber was stacked. Apparently some of the timber collapsed and pinned the boy underneath. When the girl ran crying down the road, neighbours went to the section, but the boy was found to be dead.
