RANGI-RURU OLD GIRLS
ENJOYABLE COCKTAIL PARTY
Manv members of the Rangi-ruru 'lid Girls’ Association, in most c*s°s accompanied bv their husbands, attended a very enjoyable cocktail ’ arty held veste dav at the National Club rooms in Christchurch It was a particularlv happy gathering, and many members from the country and o 7 d girls representative of several decades of the school’s life were present. They were vml'-omed by the p-esident <Miss Bel tv Webb).
Miss Webb wore a black ensemble with jacket and a white *elt hat, the brim of which was sobered wi x h black veiling. The honorary secretary (Miss M. Moray c’rrith) wore a grey-bhie tailored frock made with upstanding collar and p nish®d with novelty buttons across one side of the bodice and continuing down one sleeve. Her close-fitting little hat was of navv blue straw, finishod with an eye-veil.
Members of tke committee who. with Mks Webb and Miss Moray Smith, were responsible for the success o f the party, were Mosdames Wilfrid Fcnks. W. Thacker, and S. P. Godfrey (vice-presidents). Miss M. Waller (life member), Mesdames N. Belcher. J. R. Dawson. M. E. Lyons, C. Hart W. McF. Robertson, Graeme Anderson. Misses Joan Hanna, Pam Cuddon, Natalie Lough, and Judy Johnson.
