NATIONAL FILM UNIT
REGULAR FEATURE TO BE PRODUCED
SUCCESSOR TO “WEEKLY REVIEW”

The National Film Unit will begin soon the production of a new regular feature entitled ‘‘Pictorial Parade.” The feature will appear once a month, and Yyill cover subjects of national importance. It will be screened in New Zealand theatres, and selected material will also be used for commercial distribution overseas. The Minister in charge of Information and Publicity (Mr J. R. Marshall), announcing this today, said that the monthly release of the new’ Film Unit series would enable the public to see the work of the unit. The new ‘‘Pictorial Parade” would fill a gap which resulted from the discontinuance of the ‘‘Weekly Review.”
