Darfleld Gardea Club.— Mrs Forrester presided over 37 members at a recent meeting of the Darfleld Garden Club. Mrs R. Wilson, the guest speaker, gave a talk on “Hardy Plants for the Rock Garden.” Competitions resulted: bowl of spring flowers, Mrs Gough 1, Mrs Morrison 2, Mrs Cooney and Mrs R. S. Gunn (equal) 3; polyanthus, Mrs Sutherland 1, Mrs R. S. Gunn 2, Mrs Pearson 3.
