U.S. DESTROYER SHELLED
WASHINGTON. October 21. The United States Navy announced today that seven men were killed and one wounded on October 14, when Communist shore fire hit the destroyer Lewis off the east coast of Korea. The Lewis was hit by two shells when she moved in close to the port of Wonsan.
