N.Z. BAND’S TOUR OF BRITAIN

BUS LENT FOR TRAVEL (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 22. The New Zealand brass band which will tour Britain next year has had placed at its disposal free of cost a new 38-seater bus specially built for the famous Foden’s Motor Works Band of England. This will reduce the expenses of the tour by about £l4OO. The offer was made by Mr William Foden through his New Zealand representative. , , , . “We are naturally overwhelmed by this generous example of hospitality and comradeship from a man who has played so great a part in the brass band movement in Britain, ’ said Mr H. B.
