STEWART’S GULLY CLUB OPENS SEASON The Stewart’s Gully Sailing Club held its opening day recently. Thirty-six boats sailed in a strong south-westerly wind. A race resulted:—Gloria (Christchurch Yacht Club), -R. Ayling. 1; Blue Peter (Stewart’s Gully Club), R. Falkingham, 2; Kestrel (Pleasant Point), R. Scott, 3. Seven boats capsized. A P class race resulted:—Tom Thumb (Stewart’s Gully Sailing Club), M. Sellwood, 1; Pee Wee (Mount Pleasant), 2; Pip (Stewart’s Gully), O. Brown, 3; Jackie (Mount Pleasant), 4.
