MEMORIAL TO THE KING
ROYAL FAMILY GIVES £3900 LONDON. October 2. The Lord Mayor of London (Sir Leslie Boyce) announced tonight that the Roval Family had contributed £3900 to the King George VI Memorial Fund. The Queen, the Queen Mother, and Queen Mary each contributed £lOOO. The Duke of Edinburgh gave £250. Princess Margaret £lOO, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester £250, the Duchess of Kent £lOO, Princess Alice and the Earl of Athlone £lOO, and the Princess Royal £lOO.
