COLONEL’S DEATH IN TOKYO
General’s Daughter Charged TOKYO, October 7. Mrs Dorothy Smith, daughter of General Walter Krueger, has been charged with the murder of her husband, Colonel Aubrey D. Smith. General Mark Clark’s headquarters announced tonight. A spokesman at General Clark s headquarters said: “This case will be handled in accordance with the normal procedure. The charge is now being investigated. Should the investigation establish that a trial is warranted, the charge will be referred to the appropriate military court for trial.”
