ESPIONAGE IN SWEDEN
SOVIET DENIAL OF CHARGE (Rec. 10 P.m.) MOSCOW, October 4. Russia has rejected a Swedish Note accusing members of the Soviet Embassy in Stockholm of being involved in espionage activities. . ± . The Swedish protest was rejected in an Aide Memoire delivered by the Soviet Ambassador in Stockholm last Wednesday. A Soviet communique released today said that the findings of the Swedish Court, which recently, found Fritjof £ngohm guilty of espionage, were based “on the lying testimony of police agent? and could not inspire credence.”
