NEW BRIGHTON POWER BOAT CLUB

Mr H. J. S. Harrington, commodore of the New Brighton Power Boat Club, laid the foundation stone of the club’s new rooms on Saturday afternoon. The building, which will cost £3OOO, will be 75 feet long, 41 feet wide, and will have a social hall 50 feet by 40 feet wide. It is expected that it will be completed by the start of next season. The patron of the club (Mr J. L. Hay) declared the season open. Racing will start on October 18.
