CHESS TITLE TO N.Z. PLAYER
LONDON, August 30. Mr Robert Wade, the 31-year-old New Zealander, won the British chess title at the British Chess Congress at Chester last night. He is one of the youngest champions over 20 years.
Mr Wade has been three times New Zealand champion. He will represent Australia and New Zealand at the international zonal tournament for the world championship in Stockholm.
