ST. ALBANS LADIES’ CLUB Prizes won by member* of the Bt. Albans Ladies' Bowling Club were presented at a social evening held in the club pavilion. The following were winners of competitions:—champion singles: Mrs C. Mitchell; runner-up, Mrs J. Murray. Champion pairs: Mrs M. Duncan (s) and Miss M. Pitcaithly. Champion rinks: Mesdames G. Brosnan, I. Rolls, P. Nash, A. Ball (s). Junior singles; Mr* E. King. Handicap single*: Mr* C. Mitchell 1, Mrs P. Nash 2. Jubilee pairs: Mrs P, Nash, Miss M. Pitcaithly. President'* rinks: Mesdames G. Brosnan, E. Belton, L. Shaw, C. Mitchell (s). The following officers were elected:— president, Mrs M. Duncan: vice-president, Mrs I. Rolls: secretary, Mrs W. Barker; centre delegate, Mrs J. Murray; match committee, Mesdames J. Murray, W. Barker. A. Batt: committee, Mesdames C. Mitchell, G. Brosnan, P. Nash, L. Shaw, E. King, F. Smith, Mis* M. Pitcaithly; social committee, Mesdames I. Rolls, M. Duncan, and W. Barker.
