ENEMY ATTACK REPELLED

PROBE ON WESTERN FRONT

(Rec. 11 p.m.) TOKYO, March 27. United Nations forces yesterday repelled a determined Communist probe along the western front, in Korea, the Bth Army reported to-day. Over the whole war front nearly 2300 artilieiy rounds fell in United Nations territory. American carrier pilots reported that they wiped out .an entire Communist village south-west of Yonan. 50 miles north-west of Seoul. United Nations Naval Headquarters said that a Communist, command post with about 120 troops was known to be in the village.
