ALLEGATION BY NEW CHINA

“Finding Of Plaster Bomb”

(Rec. 8 p.m.) HONG KONG, March 27. The New China News Agency to-day claimed that the remain* of “a plaster bacteriological bomb” had been found in Kwantien county, Manchuria. The “bomb” wa* dropped by American aircraft on March 3, the Agency iaid.

It added that plaster fragments were found strewn around a four-inch deep crater, and nearby were clusters of infected flies, mosquitoes, spiders, and also chicken feathers. The agency further claimed that a Chinese fact-finding mission sent to Manchuria to make an on-the-spot investigation collected “conclusive” and “irrefutable” evidence that America had repeatedly used, and was still using, germ warfare. • A member of the Chinese Red Cross with the mission was quoted aa saying: “we have obtained evidence that should close th* mouths of Mr Acheson and General Ridgway.”
