Australian Olympic Bowers.—John Rodgers and Murray Riley, of the Sydney Club, beat R. Rawlins and J. Williams, of Melbourne, in the 2000metre double sculls race on the Nepean river yesterday by one length and a quarter and gained the right to represent Australia at the 195 9 Olympic Games. It is doubtful whether the pair will go to Helsinki as the Rowing Association is still far short of the money required.—Sydney, December 1&
