PARIS, November 10. Mr Norris E. ">odd, Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation, said yesterday that world peace could not be built on the foundation of hunger and misery. He added: “The overwhelming, immediate need is to produce more food ■nd bring it to the world’s hungry on ■ per capita basis. The world has less food available than before the war.” Mr Dodd said that the trend was for less and less food to be available on the international markets. Famine in the world had become ; > usual that it was no longer news.
