B.O.A.C. PILOT TO LIVE IN NEW ZEALAND
CAPTAIN W. J. STACEY AT AUCKLAND (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 23. Captain W. J. Stacey, of Sutton, Surrey, a senior British Overseas Airways Corporation pilot, who has just retired, arrived at Auckland In the Aorangi to-day from Vancouver. Captain Stacey nas brought his family and hopes to enter business in New Zealand. Captain Stacey said that no jet aeroplanes were flying the Atlantic commercially yet, but he thought the de Havilland jet Comet, when it entered the service, would give some surprises.
