POTATO BOARD ELECTION RESULTS
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 26. The election for three wards for growers’ representatives on the Potato Board was announced to-night as follows:—northern ward, Mr F. C. Jurgens, of Bulls, re-elected unopposed: centre* ward, Mr G. H. Blair, of Christchurch; southern ward, Mr T. L. Hayman, M.P., Oamaru, re-elected unopposed. The representative of the merchants, Mr H. Christmas, of Palmerston North, who retired, was replaced by Mr R. G. Robinson, of Christchurch.
