CHRISTCHURCH WORKING MEN’S CLUB BALL
More than 700 guests attended the fourth annual ball of the Christchurch Working Men's Club and Mutual School of Arts held in the Wentworth last evening. The guests and visitors who included representatives from the Richmond, Kaiapoi, Ashburton and Oxford clubs- were welcomed by the president (Mr J. G. Cumming). Members of the committee who arranged the ball were Messrs J. E. Malzard (chairman), A. Wills (secretary), F. Ellis (treasurer), W. Bell (master of ceremonies), G. Riley, A. R. Thomas. J. Lanyon, A. Boot, A. Fanning, WWest, C. Hamilton, and C. Keyes.
