Sueen Mary's carpet raised 104,350 ars (nearly £35,000). the Imperial Order of Daughters of the Empire announced to-day. The money was cabled to-day to the British carpet committee in Britain. Any further donations to the Imperial Order of Daughters of the Empire for the carpet fund will also be forwarded. Queen Mary, who made the carpet, gave it to the nation to be sold in either the United States or Canada to raise dollars for Britain. The Imperial Order of Daughters of the Empire was given custody of the carpet when it offered to raise a fund of a minimum of 100,000 dollars to buy the carpet for Canada. It will hang in the National Gallery at Ottawa.
