TECHNICAL OLD BOYS’ CLUB The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Christchurch Technical College Old Boys’ Cricket Club: —patron, Mr D. W. Lyall: president, Mr E, A. Sibley; vice-presidents, 10 were elected; committee, Messrs R. Burgess, M. Elliott, C. Lang, J. Leech, H. Metcalfe. H. Wason; secretary, Mr M. Metcalfe; treasurer. Mr J. Sedgley; auditor, Mr T. A. Perry; selectors, Messrs M. Elliott and Wason; delegates to Canterbury Cricket Association, Messrs Sibley and W. Mealings; delegate to Sports Protection Association, Mr Sedgley; delegate to the Past and Senior Students’ Association, Mr Sibley. Opening day was fixed for October 6. MERIVALE CLUB Practice Saturday, September 29, at Elmwood Park. Opening day October 6, at 130 p.m. Advt.
