STRAY DOGS AND CATS
Sir—Could not something be done by our City Council such as passing a by-law compelling the owners of dogs to tie them up at night as it is most annoying to find one’s garden damaged by these brutes. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals could help by destroying all the stray cats and dogs that it is feeding at the Burwood kennels, as most of these animals have been discarded by their original owners on account of their straying habits, and am sure the money required to buy food for them could be put to better advantage by helping the starving children of Asia —Yours, etc., ANNOYED.
