Indian Press Bill Deferred.— The Indian Parliament to-day agreed to refer the controversial Press Bill to a select committee for a report on September 29. This ended a six-day debate in which most speakers, both from the Congress Party and the Independent branches assailed the bill. —New Delhi, September 16.
