Soviet Satellites Blamed

(Rec. 8.30 p.m.) NEW YORK. Sept. 15. Russia’s six European satellites were helping Greek guerrilla leaders to pregare a new attempt to overthrow to reek Government, the United Nations "Watchdog Committee” in Greece reported to-day It was the first time the on-the-spot Balkans group had so openly accused Soviet nations, other ton Greece's two neighbours, Albania and Bulgaria, of directly aiding the Greek guerrilla movement. The commission accused Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Rumania, and Poland of participating in a network for collecting, training, and eventually smuggling armed subversive groups into Greece across the Albanian and Bulgarian frontiers. The nature of the movement had changed from the organised operations of a guerrilla army to subversion by small teams, but the ultimate aim still was to overthrow to Greek Government by force. The commission felt that constant vigilance bv the United Nations had been an important element in the maintenance of peace in the Balkans It recommended that its operations should be extended for another year by the forthcoming General Assembly in Paris.
