THE KING FLIES TO LONDON

FURTHER TREATMENT FOR ILLNESS

(Rec. 8.15 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15. The King flew through stormy weather from Balmoral to London today to undergo further treatment for his lung condition. Senior Royal Air Force officers in charge of the plane described the weather as “bad although flyable." So far there has been no indication as to whether the King will return to Scotland before October 10, when his Balmoral holiday was due to end, or remain in London for further treatment.
