(Rec. 9 p.m.) CANBERRA, July 4. The Minister of External Affairs (Mr R. G. Casey) told the House of Representatives this afternoon that he anticipated little if any interruption in Australian petrol and oil supplies even if Persian oil should be cut off. “The world’s major oil companies are entering into co-operative arrangements to pool their supplies if Persian oil becomes unavailable to its previous customers.” he added. “I believe, on the information available to us, that the situation in Persia is not without hope of solution.”
